proximity to the Grand Canyon *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A ADuring our visit the canyon we opted for 2 nights at the Red feather lodge. The hotel has a pool and hot tub. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Due to its close proximity to the National Park the hotel is a good base for a visit. In the summer season they even run a shuttle between Tusayan and the National Park. Our room was clean. All we can not in the 1 . Floor to sleep. As the back is the parking adjacent to the room and Autolichter seem. The 2 . Floor is the better choice. The hotel is right on the Hwy. Therefore, it is a little noisy, but I found the street noise not as bad as the air con was noisy. But all in all, a good hotel with a good price/performance ratio (even fruit and coffee was available in the lobby free of charge).
