Great sea, mediocre cuisine
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AExcellent location for those who love see and diving. Big pools, sufficient number of restaurants and helpful staff. The big disadvantage (compared to the Caribbean, Mexico, Turkey etc. is the quality and variety of the food. It is even worse than in the Greek 'all inclusive' hotels. But this is a problem of their (Egyptian) 'all inclusive' concept and kitchen, not of the hotel. I would expect this is a common issue for all Nord African resorts.
One thing I don't like in particular is that despite the ' all inclusive' concept they try 24 hours a day to sell you anything (imported alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, fresh, fruit, food, a seat in the piano bar in the hotel lobby, etc. That's national culture, you can't do anything about it.
