A vacation in paradise with small drawbacks *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AWe had eleven fantastic days at the hotel Reethi Beach resort. Ideal for people who just want to relax. On the whole island you can walk around barefoot, even in the main restaurant, which we found very pleasant. Very friendly staff. Small drawback: every evening the whole island stunk of insecticide. This measure is intended to keep the mosquitos in check. We thought however that this method was very inconsiderate- people were shunted from the paths by the toxic, white cloud formally from the paths and literally fled to the beach in order to get air. Very client-oriented otherwise, but we expected that. Other islands in the Maldives use much better methods to put a stop to the mosquitos.
