Super hotel, friendly staff *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AWhen I saw the hotel in the internet I thought that it was probably quite expensive. Then I saw though that a weekend rate was offered which was great.
The hotel was very big. 6 floors, everything was very clean and neat how it should be for a hotel like this. We had overnight stay with breakfast. At breakfast there was everything there we wanted, really good.
Location
The hotel was located very quietly in the European district but you weren't disturbed by that in any way (at least not at the weekend). To town you needed at least 20 minutes. Right around the corner there was a supermarket as well as restaurants and eating possibilities as well as a pharmacy.
The staff were very friendly, expecially at recpetion. In the hotel they spoke English perfectly, sometimes also German (at this point thank you to Tobias). The room cleaning was super neat.
Gastronomy
There was a restaurant and a bar. Both looked good and were clean. The prices in the restaurant I found too high for meat for example so we also didn't eat there.
Sport & Entertainment
Internet access was available but we didn't use it.
In the World Class Health Academy there was a pool as well as a whirlpool which were both very pleasant and well kept.
Room
The rooms were big enough. At first we were in one with 2 single beds but then after one night got a room with a double bed, everything faultless. Both rooms were very clean and well arranged. There was even a fridge and a kettle with coffee, etc. Safe and telephone were also available.
Tips and recommendations
The price/performance ratio at the weekend was great. This hotel was absolutely to be recommended.
