Hotel Riederalm

A better location for a hotel for a skiing holiday in the "Skicircus Leogang, Saalbach Hinterglemm" was impossible. From the ski room there was walk out access to the slopes and the Riederalm for apres-ski with the best settings for an unforgettable ski day.

A family hotel. The casual style of the hotel was ideal. You felt like a "cherished" guest, even if one was there for the first time. Everything one needed for a skiing holiday - from the ski pass to the ski school (SSS Asitz - best!) was available in the hotel and was served by the reception fast and correctly.

Breakfast and dinner in the modern alpine decorated restaurant, apres ski or lunch in the quaint Riederalm, and the afternoon snack in the hotel lobby provided a varied and harmonious food concept. What the son of the hotel offered as kitchen chef was remarkable. Whether 6 -course gala menu or basic lunch for the kids (as ho9t dogs with fries), was a super gourmet offer.

The pool was outdoors and at minus temperatures it was rather shady overhead. The spa area was carefully decorated and useful and the ski service was unbeatable. And if the hotel host "Friedl" was the DJ, the mood was guaranteed. We had a wonderful New Years Eve.

We stayed in a family studio with two separated units (for kids, parents) in a room in the maisonette style. With two bathrooms and two living and bedrooms it was best relaxation possible. Despite the central location of all local hotels (for the ski circus) the rooms had a beautiful view of the Leoganger Steinberge.

Considering the holiday quality a good price-performance ratio for money. Useful Tip: Book early - but please after us - the hotel was really high in demand.
