Idyllic hotel in the forest
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AThe hotel is located outside of a village in the middle of the forest. The rooms are big and nice, the view out of the window is fantastic. You can see the mountains Odle of the Valley Val di Funes/Villnöss.
As the hotel is in the middle of the forest, we had some spiders in our room, although it was wintertime.
Location
If you go for skiing, it is very good located, because you can reach the hotel directly by ski. If you wanna go shopping to Bressanone/Brixen it takes you about 20 minutes by car to go there. There is no village around, so nothing for nightlife.
Staff was friendly.
The room cleaning could be more efficient regarding the cobwebs in the room or restaurant. (in some corners)
On the top of our four-poster bed was quite a lot of dust.

Good traditional cuisine, a mix of mediterranean and South Tyrolean dishes. There is always a vegetarian main corse to choose.
The prices of the South Tyrol wines are too high, you normally get them for almost 10 € cheaper in other restaurants.
Sport & Entertainment
There is a nice wellness area, no swimming pool.

The rooms are quite big, the furniture is traditional-modern.
