Good hotel with small faults *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AFirst, the positives: the hotel on the whole is what it says on the tin. What is special is that if you are normally hungry later in the day, the basement restaurant is open from 24:00 o'clock to 07:00 morning, the dishes are freshly cooked by a chef. I haven't yet experienced something like this.
A particular mention has to go to Richy, the guy is really great.
Unfortunately there were also negative points. We went to the disco one evening and I drank a small amount Raki and coke with the man from the couple who were looking after us. We didn't get dizziness, nausea or vomit or even blackout. We could not even explain it ourselves, and we informed Guests Relations, without blaming the hotel, if maybe it was with alcohol that wasn't right. Unfortunately, we were basically turned away with the excuse that other people had already complained. In a five-star hotel, I would expect that someone takes the matter up, checks if everything is OK and then tells us what is wrong.
