Good hotel with only moderately good food *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AThe Hotel Royal Mirabeau is a bit out of Aix-en-Provence in lovely surroundings. With the car, it is very good from the highway to reach. From the terrace of the hotel, we had a wonderful view of Mont St. Victoire. The parking was free on the hotel's own car park. We were friendly greeted and also during our stay was always good. Our room was also nice views of the great landscape of the Provence. Unfortunately the room was not any more the newest. We found many customs traces of the predecessor. The bathroom was small, but very well cleaned therefor. The biggest criticism at our short stay, however, was not the room, but the breakfast! It was really none three star hotel standard! The buffet costs 13 euro per person and absolutely ridiculous therefor you got a choice, not even tasted! The coffee deserved the title and the fruit was not really fresh. For this price one is better in Aix breakfast. We can definitely recommend the hotel, because the location is really nice one-time!
