Hotel Royal Park - a very enjoyable stay
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AI stayed in Royal Park for two weeks in August last year and I must say they exceeded my expectations. Child care was really good, lots of activities to keep my children occupied, and they seemed to enjoy the stay.
I have been to three hotels in Bulgaria in total. They are quite cheap compared to other available options in Europe. I have had my share of disappointments in the past, but this particular hotel was really good. If you are looking for a place to stay with your family, I do recommend it.
I have to disagree with those who said that handling complaints is below par. There was no English breakfast tea at the buffet one morning, so I complained about it. Later during the day, I received a fruit platter and tea bags of English breakfast tea in my room. I did not expect that, but they acted very promptly.
In general, the staff were friendly, the hotel was clean, the facilities, the layout and the location were very good. The sea was literally at my doorstep. There are a few things that might be improved, e.g. the English language skills of most of the staff were not that great, but as a whole, it was definitely value for money.
