Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AWe (couple, 30) have aware for a large hotel location on the beach and for the small, rustic hotel in Grana dilla decided. The place is located about ten minutes drive from the coast at the mountain. This means (in November) about five degrees temperature difference the valley and very cold nights as well as usually a wolkenverhangenen sky. A rental car is definitely recommendable. The service in informally run hotel was very friendly and tried hard, but with different things to be desired for example wet towels were folded in the darker-tiled bathroom hung, so that you didn't have a chance to dry and wet towels again in the evening the guest have to use... In our case had, inter alia, the good reviews the kitchen an important factor in choosing this hotel given. Also here is to say, that the food was good but rather than 'kitchen' cooking reminded. The a la carte choice for a 1 week stay it is also a bit dull from. Buffet breakfast also. Overall, we were happy with the accommodation. In hindsight we would (few, 30)-due to the location and the associated temperature difference to the coast-probably not again at this hotel. Tenerife for us a successful 'winter flight'. We were happy with our rental car and many different one if transferred the island. The air temperature was (end November) 25 degrees during the day and usually the sea invited to bathe. At night it cooled down noticeably from and also with a trip to the Teide please go to warm clothes( minus degrees!).
