We have now been to Egypt for the sixth time, but we've never stayed in such a dirty and worn down hotel to-date!!!
The hotel staff called us the GERMANS, since - outside of us - approx. 90% of the guests were Russians and the remainder were English, so we always knew who they meant.
Location
The hotel was approx. 1 km away from the beach. The shuttle bus to the beach was highly unreliable when it came to driving to the beach at the alotted times - except in the mornings.
Right beside the hotel there was a newly built shopping zone, which was noteworthy for being highly overpriced!!!
NO ONE!!!
You had to get all beverages at all the bars and also in the restaurant yourself!
Only the pool boy tried hard and was thus noticeable out of all the other employees!!!
Gastronomy
The complimentary drink was handed on a tray with a dirty cloth on it. The cloth reminded you of a "cleaning rag”!
Frequently, dirty plastic cups were simply rinsed off under flowing water without the use of detergent!!!
DISGUSTING!!!!
Sport & Entertainment
There was NOTHING available except a deteriorated volleyball net in the pool!!
The pool chairs at the pool were noticeable because of their torn cushions.
What they offered here can't be called a disco, it was just a room (without a lighting system) in which loud music was played.
In the Shisha café, “as it was called,” one couldn't smoke a Shisha (water pipe), since the 3 Shishas were just used as decoration!
Room
The room they put us in was totally filthy!
The bed sheets were the used ones from our predecessors. The glasses in the room were dirty, as was the bathroom! The showering devices were heavily corroded and offered an ideal habitat for all microorganisms. The entire room furnishings were dusty, from the mirror over the TV to the tables and storage space.
