Well led tradition hotel *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AI was recently on a Vorweihnachtswochenende with my wife at the Sacher. A very nice, well-kept traditional with very friendly, attentive staff and a dignified, very elaborated decor, the tradition of the house.
Location: right next to the Salzach river vis a vis the old town with its shopping/dining all offered, in five minutes to reach fußlüfig over two bridges.
Room: small, but tastefully furnished, hardwood floors, very small, but clean bathroom, in the shower, the Moody joined, I think I've ever seen-the electronically controlled including huge rain shower (really impressive)
Restaurant: the bar/lobby is cozy and well maintained, unfortunately quite small, so in the busy Christmas was not always a place to get. In the restaurant we have not eaten, but only twice breakfast. Due to the high number of guests at this time was the restaurant full and also on warm. The very rich and good buffet was hardly any space. Cool opportunities were also not available. Here the house was clearly to its Spacial limits, as the breakfast is so not a confinement and temperature. The service was spotless.
The recommendation for a good restaurant the concierge was very good. We have in the star restaurant riedenburg excellent reasonable prices to eat.
With 1100 for two nights was the Sacher certainly not cheap, but it is still a highly recommended address, because it a special atmosphere has really and the guest is treated very well. Traveller, the less the tradition and close proximity to find old town, wellness and sports facilities but modern hotels, the Sacher should avoid.
