Hotel Sandman Downtown

Very central and enough restaurants in the area. Stanley Park is within walking distance, about 15 -20min. Nearby there is also a very large shopping center (2 min walk). The airport is about 40 minutes by taxi (approx. 30cad) to reach.

Friendly staff and helpful for problems. Foreign language skills limited to English and French. The room cleaning as far as what it is completely ok as long the stay is just 1-3 days. It should be noted that the room always cleaned very late.

A pool is located inside the house. Internet is located in the southern which just inconvenient, if you stay on the north side.

Very large modern room with the typical large American beds, very comfortable. In the room is air conditioning, a flat screen TV, coffee making facilities and telephone. The bathroom is divided into two parts. In a separate room is toilet and shower-bathtub. In the front open part of a wardrobe and sink. Positive note, a hair-dryer and plenty detergent is available. Nachteilhaft in this bathroom is that the towels and therefore not dry changed every day. After the 3rd. Day was as good as no more vacuumed and as we often ate in the room with the time there were crumbs gathered. The beds were always clean, but the bed sheets were changed twice during your stay only. But what we found very disturbing, was the fact that our room was cleaned only between 5pm and 4 .30pm you did.

Apart from the room cleaning's good value for money. In September should definitely always be planned a rainy day per week. Should also be planned for food some money. Breakfast costs on average 20cad and dinner without alcohol 50cad (including all taxes and gratuities(15-20 %).
