Wonderful hotel in the centre of Faro *

To put it more clearly: I felt awful-felt at home! The hotel is modern, comfortable, friendly and very convenient. I had booked a standard room, but a superior room. The room was large, air-conditioned, had a nice bathroom. Just great. The staff at the front desk was very friendly and helpful and spoke excellent English. What I like best is that the hotel's restaurant and the hotel's own pastelaria: both have a very nice selection of typical local dishes and are more than reasonable. I chose in the restaurant in the evening always the dish: on the first night they offered bacalhau a Braz, on the second evening monkfish spit from the grill with rice and vegetables. With (delicious!) setting and dessert was never more than ten Euros, but always excellent taste. After three weeks across Portugal it was my last hotel and at the same time, the best and most and with the-by far-best price/performance ratio. Recommendation? Yes, yes and Yes again!
