Did it's job
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AI was only staying for 2 days so I wasn't looking for anything special and I wasn't disappointed. I did email the hotel to say I'd be arriving at 13:00 and they replied they would look forward to seeing me then. When I did arrive I was told my room wouldn't be ready until 14:00. As I was on a motorcycle and dressed in full leathers I was not best pleased. They did however find a room for me to change but I couldn't shower or unpack.
The room was fine but suffered from the same problem in every hotel I stay in. Poor soundproofing
There were also some odd quirks like a clock which could not be seen from the bed, nowhere to put a travel alarm that could be seen from the bed, and the bed itself which was against a wall meaning one person had to climb over the other person to get out of bed.
I was travelling alone so it wasn't an issue but had I been with my wife I would not have been happy.
Having levelled those criticisms I can only praise the staff who were unfailingly helpful and professional.
So in conclusion. Room a little under par but staff well above it!
