Central Hotel nostalgic *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AThe hotel is located in the middle of the town, directly at Lake Lucerne four wals, on the road. Parking spaces adequate. Front garden arcs is nice with roses and from the hotel. The restaurant was bland, the map on the small side, but the food was good. However, the service was rather marginal, the appointment of a bottle of red with the comment comments, that they 23:30 o'clock wanted to shut down. The transportation situation to and from the hotel front desk was a bit confused, you did not know any more, that we had already in the afternoon and called a reservation had ordered. The search for a free room was difficult and took. All in all, you did not have the feeling, that you welcome was. (Renovated) the double room was very sober equipped. We had a room with a terrace to the sea side, the furniture on the terrace had already better Days. The bed was decent. There was no minibar. The bathroom was clean, the furnishing was old. Everything looked a bit like in the early seventies. The breakfast buffet was okay, but a bit unlovingly, many packaged parts, egg cost extra 1.50 CHF. Cappuccino was served only in the bar for the price of five CHF. For two nights it was okay, but we would not go back.
