Great location, fantastic view, hotel with History *

Lastly, a separate building was supplemented with a beautiful and very large rooms, mainly in the winter can be rented. We had an older room in the main building. The decor has the charm of the 80er/90er years and that the category of three stars.
The main attraction of the hotel is the spectacular view of Lake Lucerne. From every room, from the breakfast room and the terrace. You can watch the ships and from noon until evening sun (if it seems, because for us it was unfortunately very inconsistant weather).
We had a room on the third floor, with no balcony, but with large windows. On the lower floors there are balconies, but are sometimes small room. Generally the rooms are different size and furnished, as the hotel has grown over the years.
The lake can directly from the hotel terrace with a step entrance and you can. Showers and changing rooms are in the new construction available.
The boss, Friday is very friendly, unobtrusive and always ready for a trip idea. Food incompatibilities with their vote and you suitable food (with us lactose-free milk and gluten-free bread).
Who was there for once, he comes back, because the location is simply amazing and Friday H., with its art and friendliness, the 80er charm of the main house more than makes up.
We are coming with great pleasure again, but only if the rate of the franc to the euro has become lower. It was a very nice but also a guilty pleasure, for which the hotel can't be.
