Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AAlso we were at the beginning very confident and optimistic because of the mostly positive reviews on this website. The first impression, which concerns with the front desk, was even attractive and well. Since we were already against 09:00 o'clock checked in the hotel and the room was not ready, we had to use the toilet in the area by the hotel. First impression was there. We were really happy to wait with the breakfast the bridge. The ball, quite big disappointment next. So a poor breakfast we had never had before. No fresh rolls, but only a white and dark colored a baguette. The further and turned out daily offer: a sort of indedible cheese, two really to look 'atypical' sausage, knüppelharte small croissants (didn't deserve its name have), unloving then laid and often lukewarm scrambled eggs and sausages. Jam and chocolate in bowls (also a matter of taste tigers), a small salad buffet with cucumbers, tomatoes and lettuce (was actually the best part of the buffet), lunch and dinner didn't meet our expectations. We cannot reconstruct it not at all, as some people here may submit such good reviews. In summary, as regards the food: mind-boggling than usual warm dishes were very often lukewarm. The selection repeated so often, there must, unsmoked brown aufgescheuchtes food from the previous day was just put them up on the next day again. Coffee was only for breakfast and between 16:00 and 17:00 o'clock. So if you despite all inclusive time after lunch wanted to drink a coffee, got no. Rooms: was okay. Clean. Were cleaned every day. The bathroom was always flooded after taking a shower former, since the system was overtaxed wastewater. A note to all women, toilets in Greece are terrible. No toilet seat available and a separation between men and Frauentoiletten is a rarity. You should throw the used toilet paper in the toilet not, but if any ☺, provided therefor in containers. Otherwise friendliness of the staff: enough, but not more than that-hotel's own beach does not exist (it is nearby several beach, the beach chairs cost about three/four €per day)-conclusion: we are not just talking here about the really annoying points made. If you want a nicer Crete vacation, choose a better region (the chersonissos SIS and Malia are the party regions) and at least a four stars hotel. Take a hundred -200 €extra charge more in purchase, rather than concentrating on the price only. Note: a, a 78, 86 Euro per litre of petrol, was Sept/October 2011.
