Hotel Sheraton Algarve

The hotel is very large, but clearly divided. You get to the beach via a lift and a wooden staircase through the dunes (for wheelchairs and strollers only suitable to a limited extent).. On the beach there are enough loungers and towels, that don't need to be unnecessarily carried around. The beach bar offers food and drinks - but at very high prices (€ 3.50 for a cappuccino!). Besides the main restaurant, where one takes the meals that have been booked as half-board, there are several other restaurants in which the half-board rate will be charged. The food is very versatile - especially the entrees and desserts. The breakfast is also very extensive and varied, egg dishes are freshly prepared, there is plenty of fresh fruit, etc. Beautiful: one can eat outside in the morning and evening! A disadvantage and completely exorbitant are the extremely high prices for drinks (one bottle of a simple house wine costs 24 eurose)! Nevertheless, we can recommend the hotel! Opposite the hotel is a supermarket where you can stock up with drinks.
