Hotel with good value for money *

During our Alaskan trip, we stayed for 2 nights at the Sheraton Anchorage. The hotel is within walking distance (20 minutes) to the town center. Thanks to direct online reservation online and was a great value for high season good. The breakfast was not included in the room rate, the (good) breakfast buffet was about $16 dollars. Unfortunately there is a shuttle service, so is not available for transfer for example you to the airport a taxi (about $20 ). The rooms are nicely decorated and large enough, the bathroom a bit small. From the 14th floor we had wonderful views toward downtown and sea. When we didn't like - due to the bad insulating windows - the noise from the street or from the ventilation system of the hotels. Highly recommended is a visit to the nearby Anchorage Museum.
