Great food- infrastructure wasn't soo good *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AUnfortunately, the hotel was slightly old. The 11 years of sun and sand had left their marks. After a refurbishment this hotel would be even more recommendable.
There was practically no evening entertainment and there wasn't anything going on for kids either. But we were on the beach all the time and built sand castles there. For that the hotel was great.
Location
The location of the hotel was super. The area great. It took 5 minutes by tuc tuc to got to the harbor or to go down town. Great places where you could experience a lot. The shuttle bus to the golf course was just great. Every 30 minutes there was one going to the golf court. It took 10 minutes to get there.
The garden area, the lagunas and the beach was very nice.
It wasn't suitable for snorkeling. You couldn't see anything ...
The people were very friendly and we enjoyed great service for a week.

Gastronomy
Very good food. For lunch and also for dinner. We didn't have problems with the stomach... we were in Egypt for the 1st time. There was also a wine list. You could enjoy wine from abroad but they were a little bit expensive (from 80 EUR), as the government put 500% tax on it.
Sport & Entertainment
Large offer of sports activities. You had to take a boat to go diving.
It was about a 1 hour drive until you could see something. Directly by the beach or at the 500 m away reef you couldn't see anything.
The entertainment left something to be desired. But who cares, we just wanted to relax a little bit.
The pool chairs were slighly old.
Room
We had booked two double rooms. They were spacious. Double sink and 2 seperate beds.
The air conditioning didn't work really well and made our room slightly humid sometimes.
Also the rooms should get refurbished.
Tips and recommendations
It's perfect if you don't want to get a stomach ache, want to enjoy nice weather, a holiday by the beach and to go golfing.
Next time we will stay at the Moevenpick, because we liked the area more there.
