Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AThe hotel is huge and therefore all a good chance to have a room on the level. The rooms are not outdated, but modern/classic style. The condition is great (large TV, good, new bed). Our cleaning lady was not the tidiest but for a city trip it was ok! No breakfast, etc. -- Free coffee is available. This hotel is a business/elegant/hotel.
Location
The location is great! Just around the corner of the world, there is a metro station. And it is only a few minutes to the TS! We could walk every day without a marathon to walk everywhere! Shopping possibilities were great. BW, 5th etc. close to everything! Doesn't get much closer!
The front desk (2 women) were very rude and could not even tell how long you need to airport! (By the way about 40 -45min by taxi) spoke German Neither! In addition we didn't need.

Small but nice. I found it a lovely, quiet, pleasant but a bit dark room. The equipment was good. Fully stocked mini bar, TV, coffee machine available, huge balcony = no. Condition was also okay / modern/classic.
Tips and recommendations
Make the tour with the red buses! They have 3 tours to choose from. The night tour was really great! Ellen's Stardust diner must visit your needs! Great breakfast!! For NY long 5 days from, unless you wanted to each Museum! Buy converse shoes, extremely cheap ($45 ) for us went over 100!
