Hotel Sheraton New York & Towers

The location was terrific. Because of its central location you can discover a lot of walking. Nightlife is also very much. The "David Lattermann" show is right around the corner. As well as the Broadway theaters. The hotel itself offers in the pay chanel TV the movies available (costing approximately 17 dollar). As is everything about restaurants available in the surroundings. The walk up to Central Parc takes about 20 minutes. From fast food to the 3 star restaurant. The subway is right in front of you. Taxis were also highly recommended, it's not expensive. even if you as a family! The subway single fare is at least $2.25. And for about $8 to drive to the ferries for the Statue of Liberty ...

All of the hotel staff members were very very nice. We had a problem with our safe, the rectified immediately. As well as with various asking for supermarket, restaurant recommendations, and similar was nice and competent and happy to help us. The housekeeping staff does get tip right on the first day and always cleaned perfectly. So quite good!

There is a fitness room. But we didn't use it.

The rooms were a good size, meaning that we were in the quad with a double room with two beds. As it was already a bit cramped. But that didn't bother us. The room has a huge flat screen TV, minibar, coffeemaker, free coffee!. It was clean and in a reasonably well-kept condition (furniture is old).

We were in February in NY and it was wonderfully empty and you never had to wait in line for a long time. It was only a one day bad weather and the rest of the week the sun was shining, you could even sit outside.
