Not bad, but 5 stars?!? *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AIt is a larger hotel with international guests, altough mostly "Childless" guests. We had two double room Deluxe, which was probably the cheapest room type. In the open area everything was very clean, also the bathing area was completely hygienic. However, the ravages of time commendation: carpets were partly needing attention was the ceiling panels and swim in the incomplete. Special plus is the self-contained underground parking: in the downtown area is a Tagesparkticket 200 Kunar, 120 Kunar.
Location
The hotel is located in the center of Zagreb, the central sights in about 10 minutes. There is in the area (approx. 5 - 10 minute walk) good restaurants and plenty of shopping .
The entire staff speaks excellent English, no German. You are relevant friendly, but we found it not so welcoming. The children were practically ignored and we werent sure if we are really welcome as a family. The atmosphere was cool, although no one rude in the main senses. The room cleaning was on the visible spot in order, however we found under the bed not a bit of dust and so apetizing things like Zehnnägel cut off. In the bathtub was already on arrival a long black hair, despite use the tub also when we left, 2 days later, still there verweilte. (Please note: no one of us had black hair!)
Gastronomy Unused
As the cheapest breakfast, we would have cost 12 EUR out for breakfast-the seemed to us when it comes to our 3 small children is a little over-priced. For this reason we didn't eat the other meals, particularly as the surrounding area good restaurants. We may be used to quality of the food cannot comment.
Sport & Entertainment
The hotel has an indoor pool, quite nice, a jetted tub is on a small roof terrace and a wellness and beauty area. The whole area is very clean, and we received at the spa towels. Only the request that kids under 16 (as far as I recall) the bathing area visit alone, confused me. There is Wi-Fi and free internet access in the lobby with the possibility printing facilities. This area and the entire area are very stylishly designed and invite to stay.
Room
The room was large and plush furnishings. The bathroom largely marble. Even a peaceful as valets and an iron were available in the room. We had two double rooms with connecting door. One of them was handicapped accessible and the Durchgangslösung was really good. Unfortunately the carpet and curtains seemed a bit used, so that our curtains even had holes. The cleanliness was, as stated above, only conditionally good.
Tips and recommendations
It is certainly a good hotel, even a family couldn't really make you feel welcome. However, in relation to the cleanliness of the entire building and the visible wear doubtful whether you would expect from a 5 star hotel. We had 1 night 80 EUR/double room. That is an acceptable value in this location, with this parking.
