Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AQuite acceptable building with neat room but not at all soundproof and very loud area (side of the road with traffic noise, pool side with loud music till about 1 a.m.).
Location
Distance to the beach about 600 meters (didn't quite match the high gloss catalogue). The carriage service was found to be like the fairy-tale of the hare and the hedgehog by people who weren't good on foot and older people. When the guests got to the beach by shanks' mare their blood pressure got even higher. There a beach awaited us with up to 1 meter high smelly sea weed. After energetic complaints by us, respectively guests from Vienna they found a temporary solution. Unclear remanined the different all inclusve offers and the classification of the hotelmanagement into beach lovers and pool lovers. At the pool the best pool chairs with super cushions and other amenities. At the beach the used lumbago and back braking cripple chairs with only a supply of water. We stood at the beach with camels of the bordering horse and camel ranch at the same place.
The staff at reception didn't know what service meant. If you arrived at the hotel after 11 p.m. you were treated as a disturber of the peace. He didn't get any food or drink altough he had payed for that day. They weren't capable of serving a drink there of at least putting a bottle of water in the room. Great! When changing money certain staff members tried to change without a receipt or to keep the Milims. The room cleaning on the whole was alright. Complaints were listened to and small faults were solved.

Despite beeing typical of the country (except German) the dishes weren't very varied. I had had enough of it after one week. My wife on the other hand liked it quite a lot. For a bottle of water for example for the room you really had to fight for. They only gave out the water after 10 p.m. If you needed medicine early in the morning and needed a mouthful of water had to wait a long time because of that. I think the closeness to the Sahara left it's impression on the water.
Sport & Entertainment
At the pool they didn't set importance on cleanliness. A big part of the guests didn't feel it was necessary to shower before using it. The jewisch guests jumped into the water with all their clothes on. Otherwise the area was alright. The activities were suitable for young guests.
Room
The condition of the room and the furniture was good. In the bathroom hooks were missing, respectively shelves.
Tips and recommendations
If you liked spending a beach holiday at the pool and weren't disgusted by anything and liked to get annoyed and didn't have any requirements and was immune to loud music or other annoying noised should go to Tunisia and live in the hotel Sidi Mansour. Greetings to the fighters of the Austrian fraction.
