Nice hotel with a great pool! Check-in miserable! *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AThe complex was beautiful and the pool area well maintained and comfortable. Animation program gave it at least every hour, the staff's handling of complaints could archery, etc.
At the check-in we had to wait 1/2 hour for our room two. We were not at all taken into account and felt unfairly treated. The reason: our room was not ready. After 1/2 hour we then after two could wait in the room, it was still not ready! We found the room in the condition, as the previous guests had left! After nervous at the end of the lunch and then the room was not cleaned, we asked a maid in the hallway. She was very friendly and immediately brought to our room in order! The horror hours and were still looking for vacation and enthusiasm about the hotel!
With time one could be pleased but other things, such as the wide buffet, great pool and the daily changing of towels and the bad start was forgotten. Otherwise can I say, that the hotel loved. standards The rooms were daily cleaned (roughly) and the towels were changed every day. The balcony and the view of the ocean was great, the buffet selection was huge and the beach was lovely quiet without traders and super clear water! With the taxi one could drive for about four euro to houmt Souk, the capital djerbas, and shop! The Friday, as there is a big market.
As a tip I can say : (almost) nothing believe what you tell the Tunisians! Rather look for yourself and a few opinions consult, no matter what! It is, if the Diet Coke is really without sugar (important for diabetics) 1/2 hour or two so you have to wait for your room. Sometimes I was able, in discharging their lies, then you've friendly!^^
All in all, I regret the decision, at this hotel again! It was a great vacation, what more could you ask for than summer, sun, beach and palm trees!
Oh yes, you write postcards! In Djerba it is often, that the postcards are not sent! Instead the stamps are sold with machinery produced extra (!) therefor of the map, and more. The maps are written in the garbage! I was still optimistic and have six cards sent. To today, three weeks after the vacation-No postcard! So save yourselves the trouble!^^
