Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AThe hotel was relatively central location in Porto ayora Silberstein and only 24 beds, so no masses of tourists, but also very comfortable group travelers. Shops, ATM ( with the EC-card! ) and restaurants are all within walking distance, as well as the Darwinstation and the small, picturesque fishing port. Excursions to other island by boat ( for example. Long runs) possible, as well as a island discovery. Hotel can arrange this part, subject the tour operators in the place much promise and rarely keep everything. Also day-diving trips arranged, but despite the great Unterwasserlanschaft - due to the small boats and such T. "Hard trips only conditionally recommendable. Rather seven days trips to wolf and Darwin! The sea is a minute's walk away, a great beach ( Tortuga Bay) is a 40 -minute walk ( and only walk) distance and a must. The hotel is small and comfortable, the room but only mediocre, nor just enough. A part of has double beds, a part in principle (! ) Twin beds. Ground floor rooms are rather dark, the bathrooms z, T. Tiny and more from 2-3 stars level. The courtyard with a small pool is green and nice. The restaurant in the usual island-Mittelniveau ( the only really good restaurant - with relatively high prices - is the Siesmayer, acceptable the rocks) is the open, but covered part of kinda quaint, the closed restaurant, in the breakfast, so-so. The breakfast buffet is mediocre and is of the selection limited. No half-board or full-board. The service, especially from the Rezeptionsleiterin is good and friendly, they spoke enough good English. This can be from the otherwise also relatively friendly staff was only partly say. Overall the hotel is - relative to the overall product - highly recommended, the alternatives are limited. Do it from a different side: If you see on the Galapagos Islands, the nature and underwater (! ), You saw the Silberstein with Rosa eyes - small faults disturb less than in other regions of the world.
