Good hotel for business travel *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AThe first impression of the hotel is not very large. From the outside it made a good impression. We were there at the beginning of January, so I can only judge rated suitable - this was always well taken care of. The hotel has 3 floors, a bit old fashioned, but so are most hotel to the America. It is a bit old but clean and tidy. Breakfast was included and Monday through Thursday evenings there was a small buffet. Coffee was available all day and cookies at the front desk. Most guests were business travelers or just passing through. Weekends are often families there during our stay.
Location
The hotel is very centrally located. From the airport about a 10 min walk to the next shopping areas, it is also only a few minute ... With a car, of course, but what you would expect it in the USA probably no one. Just around the corner is the 28th Street - they had almost everything for shopping, dining and entertainment possibilities, you can imagine. from downtown about 20 minutes, but with the highway also close at hand.
The service was good. The front desk staff was nice. Foreign language skills I can't say anything about it, but I think it's definitely an advantage to a little English, if you're traveling to America. The room cleaning was not very well, the hand towels were changed, but the floor was cleaned only messy. The can join us but because the our bags were dispersed everywhere on the floor. In the hotel there was the possibility to do laundry, above a washing machine and a dryer available. The had to be paid extra.
Gastronomy
Breakfast was free. Breakfast is served daily from 7 AM to 10 am 6.30-9.00 or on weekends. It was rather poor, as usual in America. There were 2 kinds of cereal, oatmeal, a waffle station with flavored syrups, whipped cream and strawberries, 2 toast, 2 Bagelsorten, scrambled eggs, fried minced meat, cream cheese, yogurt, and 3 sorts of coffee, 2 types of milk and 2 sorts of juice. A bit dreary, but you didn't have to starve. Monday to Thursday evening there was still a small changing Snackbuffet e.g. tacos and minced meat or hotdogs or vegetables and dip. The cleanliness in the small dining room was ok, but also a little of the guests, since nobody permanently.
Sport & Entertainment
There was a small gym with two stair machines, one of which didn't work and bike. Unfortunately the room was very warm and could also be colder to ask not so sport was almost impossible. There is also einenIndoor pool, but I didn't use it.
Room
The rooms are ok. We had a room with 2 queen beds, a TV and a small closet with Sliders. Unfortunately, there was no wardrobe, and also otherwise few opportunities, goodies. The room also has the sink. an adjoining roof is also a separate toilet, as well as a large shower. There was a small coffee machine, a microwave and refrigerator in our room. The decor was a little outdated, but about the cleanliness I had no complaints. The air conditioning also worked well (heated). There is also a small safe that one could use for free.
