Good design hotel with light deduction *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AThis was our 3rd time for shopping in Hamburg, and the 3. Hotel tried. The Sofitel is very centrally located, walking distance to almost everything, both the numerous shopping opportunities, as well as the internal/Aussenalster lake, Speicherstadt Stadium and the Landungsbruecken. The hotel is new, the booked deluxe room ( quiet for Fleet located) was extremely clean and tidy but perhaps a little small. Only a two-seater sofa and a desk and chair, no chairs. The wardrobe is - as often - too small, and the glass Schwebetür each are closed only one side, either the clothes or the Wäschefachseite ( just designer furniture). The room, and the bathroom and basically the whole Hotelinneneinrichtung is consistent and perfect in gray and white tones, very bright and very modern. not normal about on the edge of: in the bathroom there were altogether amazing 8 light fixtures, and one anyway could see nothing, not my wife for your make-up and restyle, nor I shaving. reason: it is to use various halogen lamps, although everything possible, enters the bathtub or for example the toilet, but not the important area on the mirror. A Leuchtröhrenlösung helpful. Otherwise the bathroom is large, separate shower and bath, super clean. The breakfast room is split up into intimate dining areas, so it seemed not so large and uncomfortable. Nice atmosphere, good service. But then: only relatively poor selection of meats, and not very tasty. The cheese did not seem very fresh. We even in 4 star hotels better buffets. Otherwise, you can get this hotel to anyone city breakers ( the not so ambitious as we).
