Really bad *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AWe were already often in the Hamburger Sofitel and up until the last time we were really pleased. In August 2008 we became acquainted with the 'dark' side of the hotel. First of all, we were in the room for disabled (but we are not handicapped), because I wanted to remain of course not, because all these special facilities I inherit the hotel Verdi. After 20 minutes at the front desk mentioning we got a room in the basement. My first thought was, when I walked into the room I accessed, that it should be closed for renovation. The sink and the bathtub were very scratched, the shower was under any would, the decor has an old and vertaubten impression. With our friends in rooms on the same floor the door was broken. It is not so, that all rooms are so bad (previously we had to stay in good rooms of the hotel), but once such a bad service and risk property to get I would not, as in many nice hotels are really. Tip: take no room in the basement.
