Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A Apositive:-good la ^ GE directly on the seafront of Copacabana beach, Ipanema beach within walking distance to the (10 minutes walking) very friendly and helpful concierge windrose buffet has good selection, good bathroom with a large shower negative :-old, hadn't been refurbished hotel-lobby, restaurant and rooms were unfortunately not in very good condition, everything needed an urgent renovation-the two pools as well as the couch surfaces are small and dated-You really don't want, here by the pool to-of the staff speak good English or other international languages, in particular at the front desk the concierge staff are not very attentive and not very friendly-the room balcony is very small and the view is rather ugly unfortunately, this is one of the worst Sofitel that I have ever seen-I hope this will improve soon. At the moment the hotel is located on a 3-star standard.
