Not near night life *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AHi, Just got back from 9 days in Hotel Sol Gaudalupa Magaluf, on the whole it was fantastic. The hotel was very well managed, the staff was very helpful and the food was plentiful and at good standard. Negative? Not much but the main point which I thought could have an effect on a holiday was the room size. If a room was reserved for 3 with an extra bed in the room, then it was just cramped, as there was simply not enough room for 3 people in the room. There did not seem to be a 3 bed solution, but they did have 4 bed rooms which were much more spacious, or the option of 2 double rooms might be food for thought. The storage space was also not sufficient for the clothing of three people. The hotel was far enough away from the night life at Magaluf to get a good nights sleep, you could go and check the metalists out, have a laugh at them and retire for a good nights sleep while they continue until the early hours. There were also local pub restaurants in the immediate area which were very good, the one we visited was MANO'S which I would recommend. Be aware when reserving that the British season for this hotel would start in June-July and then September onwards, August was dominated by Italians, French and Russians. So pick the suitable season.
