Beautiful hotel that we've enjoyed again
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AWe've been going to the Hotel Son Julia since it opened and enjoy it so much we always stay there when we're in Mallorca.
It's a beautifully restored country house that has kept many original features both within the house and in the surrounding grounds and gardens.
The rooms are always clean and comfortable with large bathrooms, fabulous showers and large closets.
Nothing is too much trouble for the staff and we always look forward to being greeted by Maria at breakfast.
We really recommend the hotel and look forward to returning again in the future.
Location
Located about 15 minutes from Palma with great restaurants and shopping. The airport is even closer.
Llucmajor is 5 minutes away by car and we've found some good bars and local restaurants in the town.
Great staff who look after our every need. They respect your privacy while making you feel that the hotel belongs to you.
Every evening the beds are turned down and bottled water left by the bedside.
Gastronomy
Good breakfast with lots of choice including fresh fruit every day.
Sport & Entertainment
Pools are in good condition. The spa is clean and quiet.
Room
Comfortable beds. Nice furnishings. Minibar. Airconditioning and heating work well.
The rooms have a small balcony if you stay on the first floor and french doors that are great to open to the afternoon sun.
Tips and recommendations
The island is small, rent a car and explore. You can drive to most places in an hour or meander the country roads for hours.
The wireless access is patchy in the rooms but ok elsewhere in the hotel.
