Hotel Sonnenuhr

The hotel is located in the valley of the Inntal with the mountains within hiking distance. Kramsach is close to Innsbruck and also Munich. Salzburg is only 130 kilometers or so away. Hiking and swimming in some of the lakes close by is a must. If the weather is not kind to you there are plenty of opportunities to see the Schaubergwerk a silver mine in Schwaz or a trip to Innsbruck to see down town with its famous city hall (Rathaus) with the golden roof (goldene Dach).

Service was great, all requestshave been answered with kindness. I didn't check the language skills (I speak German) but I would assume the personal is able to communicate in English as well. What our stay is concerned no complaints have been filed whatsoever.

If you have Halbpension (breakfast and dinner included) you have also the opportunity to have lunch in the hotel although to be paid separately.

Outdoor swimming pool is great and our kids enjoyed it. What is lacking is a soccer field or an area to play soccer with other fellow kids of the hotel.

As stated before the room we had was exceptional big. If you have two kids you want to aks for two separate beds for them instead of one queen size bed. I'm sure the hotel can accommodate your request (we didn't ask for it but it turned out to be a bit of problematic with two boys aged 10 and 7).

Traditonally this is a wintersport area but summer is also great for hiking and exploring the environment. You might even get a great deal if you book far in advance.
