Hotel Staberhof

The only nice thing is the neighboring mountain, but that's default there, so this doesn't count.
No shopping facilities or anything nearby, but if you're fond of cows, a whole herd smells right next to the hotel entrance...

Nothing to do at all, the neighborhood consists of private drives, therefore there's nowhere to walk. One has the impression this hotel can be approached only by car...
The garden is around 25 metres long, with a sudden steep at the end.
They haven't draw our attention to this health risk (you sure won't notice this in time when taking a walk after dinner, the garden not being well lit).

They don't speak other than German, not a word in English, or any other language - that's a shame if it comes to tourism...
I had a difficulty making myself understood because the lady just stood there, shaking her head, did not even try to seek anyone who could help us to communicate.
I wouldn't go back, ever.

The dinner was awful, hardly half done and tasteless.
We had pork cutlet with plain steamed potatoes, but the meat was cooked (or steamed) instead of being fried or baked in any ways.
The dessert was a gruesome and tiny scope of ice cream, with big ice lumps and an immensely sweet sauce made of attenuated jamlike thingy.

I give 3 because it was a basic room but at least clean.

However:
- no fridge and our booking for a double room meant twin room for them, so we were sleeping with 2 nasty logs between us.
- NO shampoo/shower cream, only an old-fashioned soap hidden in the bathroom.

I don't know, maybe just : NOT WORTH THE MONEY.
