Nice hotel in quiet location *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AThe hotel is located in a quiet side street ( residential area, 1930 zone) about five-minute walk from the train station HH-Altona away. Fish market and St. Pauli are also within walking distance. To our surprise the hotel only had two star (which is for example. On the hotel's website and no mention here is a 3 star hotel. We were greeted very friendly and check in was fast and smooth. Our room was the class "standard" equipped with double bed, bedside table, wardrobe, a table, two armchairs, a lamp, TV, bathroom with shower, toilet and sink. A hair dryer we got to our request from the staff brought to our room. Added bonus: almost throughout the hotel has free Wi-Fi access, that needed Netzwerkschlüssel we got on the front desk. The breakfast buffet in the breakfast room a little cramped running round out didn't leave any of our wishes open. Next to two platters with many different kinds of sausage and cheese, different kinds of cereal, milk, orange juice, yoghurt, boiled eggs, meatballs, different kinds of jam, Nutella and butter, there was a large hard drive every morning with different kinds of fresh (! ) CUT fruits ( oranges, kiwis, melon, pineapple, ... ) and different sorts of salads ( Wurstalat, herring salad, ... ). A basket of fresh rolls and bread directly from the waiters at the table, as well as coffee or tea. Both coffee as well as rolls were replenished when necessary. Overall, we were very pleasantly surprised from the hotel, especially the throughout very friendly and competent staff as well as in terms of cleanliness. There was really nothing to complain about at all. Our room was cleaned every day and there was always fresh towels ( no matter if you are fit neatly over the towel rack your towel, because you want to use it again or not). The partly somewhat older inspired décor is then a certain charm
