Self-catering again with pleasure *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AWe were very content, after all it was a 3 star hotel, the hotel was sufficient to us. However, the pool bar closed too early which was bad for all inclusive guests!
Bungalow were perfectly suitable for 2 people.
Unfortunately, there was no air-conditioning... but you could open the windows at night.
We were 21 and 28 and this was our first holiday together and there were many families in the hotel. But that didn't disturb us.
Location
The location was great, not directly in the city but the city was easily reachable on foot. It only took 5 minutes to walk to the ocean and there were many shopping possibilities near.
The Spar supermarket and the supermarket belonging to the hotel were the cheapest ones.
One was a bit more expensive net.
There were many excursion possibilities and you could rent a car at every corner.
Playa del Papagayo were wonderful beaches.
All were very friendly.
The most important staff spoke international languages.
The room cleaning was also completely all right.
There were washing machines in the area.
Gastronomy
We only ate in the hotel once, everything was built up as a buffet, but there were also fresh things from the grill outside like chicken and hamburger meat.
Everything was clean.
There were changing themes in the food, for example Italian cuisine on Monday, Spanish cuisine on Wednesday etc. You could get as many drinks at you wanted.
There were also Sangria and 2 different sorts of beer and wine.
Sport & Entertainment
The activities were great, we didn't take part, we just wanted to relax.
That was easily possible at pool 2, at pool 1, there was a lot going on: water polo, water aerobics, kids dances etc. etc.
There was also internet access in the lobby and there were a mini club, a fitness room, billiard, table-top football and small playground for kids.
Room
It was great for 3 stars.
The bed was very comfortable, TV was for free for nearly everyone.
The kitchen was also good, nothing for an apartment you live in but it was completely sufficient for the holidays.
Tips and recommendations
Lanzarote was expensive but it was worth going there once. There were many things to be seen and to do.
