Functional hotel with friendly staff *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AThe hotel provides a convenient accommodation dar, has seven floors, sun deck with pool and bar and a few leisure facilities in the reception area. The rooms have TV, telephone, two beds and partly with an additional sofa bed. Air conditioning and ceiling ventilator are also available. The rooms and bathrooms are well worn/worn. These traces are particularly clear on the carpets in the halls. The carpets are heavily stained. There are smoking and non-smoking rooms. My Tauchkamerad and I booked half board, so breakfast with dinner. The guest structure was very mixed: All nations (French, English, German, Dutch, Austrians) were there. There were young and old.
Location
A little way out from the center of Buggiba, very rural location. The hotel is located in the middle of residential street, whereas the back the rural outlook on unfinished buildings, agricultural land and the few kilometers away from Malta enjoy dump. Mornings at 4:30 has a Krähkonzert of fowl and the barking dogs different announced the day. That was rather annoying. But that was not the hotel's fault.
The staff is very friendly, the management on site visible and available. You need not only in the hotel English, but the whole island, to get through. The rooms were cleaned every day and the towels changed. Tiled floor would have time can be wiped. I changed my first room, because after every shower flooded the bathroom was. I have the not so much as announced complaint, because it was just an inconvenience. The management has my NOTE by another larger room without problems got fixed. Very exemplary.
Gastronomy
A restaurant, a bar on the ground floor and on the roof complement the offer. The breakfast is decent, the coffee and the Teewasser come from a vending machine. You can the coffee, but he is something to get used to. Otherwise there was cereal, fruit, sausage, cheese, bread, bread rolls, butter and jam. Perfectly adequate. Dinner was always good, very varied and varied. Very tasty. The prices for drinks in the restaurant are meters. E. Adequate: 0,5 l water 1.30 Euro 1 pint (0.5 liter beer cost 2.80 euros)
Sport & Entertainment
The hotel has a wireless Internet access (fee), but I had with my own laptop 4. Floor were partly Unsecured networks and therefore can also surf. On the 7th Floor (deck) were always enough chairs available.
Room
Very functional, but not luxurious. feather beds, very soft. No mini-bar. Floor could be cleaner. The bathrooms are small. The water in Malta is basically chlorinated, so no drinking water. In the rooms there are two outlets: A with English plug adapter (take away) and one for an adapter (not safety plugs). Whether adapters are available at the hotel, I don't know, as I had my adapter.
