Disapointed
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AWe found the hotel very inadiquate, and were extremly disappointed and angry at the level of the standard of the hotel for the money that we paid. There was no entertaiment available at the hotel.
Location
The hotel was not easily accessable if you wanted to go out, there was a very long steep hill to walk up and down. It was only about ten minutes from the beach although the walk was very tiering and off putting. There were no shuttle services availaible to make the journey to and from the beach more pleasant.
We found the staff at the hotel qiute ignorant and unhelpful, and they didnt even seem to care when we left the hotel after two and a half days to be transffered to another hotel, as did a number of other people.
Gastronomy
The food was not 4 star rating whatsoever and once it was gone there was no more brought out, the snacks were sandwiches which were left out in the heat by the bar so they went hard very quickly. There was'nt a great deal of drinks available for all inclusive customers either and if you wanted anything alse you had to pay.
Sport & Entertainment
There ws no entertainment available.
Room
The rooms themselves were very basic and we felt they had mis advertised the hotel as what we seen was not actually what we got. There was a shower head attached to the taps on the bath but nowhere to hang it up, if you wanted to use it you had hold it over yourself. There was no T. V. in the rooms although we were lead to belive there would be. We had a table and chairs in the lounge along with two couches which was just as well as two of our chairs where actually broke. The bed are just a mattress on top of slates of very hard wood and we would wake in agony every morning.
Tips and recommendations
We where supposed to stay at the Sunshine Village for the full week, but got transferred on our third day to the Royal and Imperial Belvedere which was an absolutly stunning hotel and would definatly recommend it to anyone.
