Annoying little things *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A ASafty consciousness is all well and good, but what the guests in this hotel are expected, is a hassle. Before check in three checks (!) incl. Luggage unpack, because we had a small pocket knife in the bags, which was confiscated. For purchases in the hotel bazaar every time the bags. It was rather good, why you " all inclusive " every individual and every drink extra ball by name, room number and signature must acknowledge.. It wasn't bad, but in the long run annoying.
All the staff were always very friendly and helpful. We also, that there is a separate children's corner in the restaurant is, so that it was rather quiet of the season.
Snorkeling possibilities were OK, elsewhere in the Red Sea but there is much more to see.
We booked our trips to Jerusalem, Petra, made. Petra was worth seeing if you don't very good on foot, should absolutely take a horse drawn carriage, the way pulls itself and is quite weak. 2-day trips were unfortunately not offered, so we made the 1-day trip. Remain in Petra: 1/2 hour three. A long, exhausting day (06:00-22:00 h)-we found that the 170, -€ / person worth it.
The tour to Jerusalem was still more arduous: we stayed at 03:00 h at the border and shortly before 7:00 PM we were finally in Israel. 1 1/2 hour the Israelis left us waiting at the border, before the actual check began, which lasted about 1 hour again. For Jerusalem, we had three hours time, what we are an hour waiting in the Holy Sepulcher and spent the rest of the time only behind our guide herra harvest. Time for photos or even purchases remained hardly. The lunch was offered in Bethlehem after 16:00 h. Since early in the morning if you are on your feet and only a minimal breakfast package, that was already very late. After 24:00 h we were back in the hotel (that was done with a dinner). We have seen the holy Sepulcher, the Western wall and the church of the Nativity and the Via Dolorosa short line running-once again we would certainly not this trip.
