On the edge of the old town *

The hotel 'Tartu' is located in a small, new industrial estate on the edge of the old town and just opposite the bus station. Free, underground garage under video surveillance parking spaces are available in front of the hotel.
The hotel is from the 70 year olds, you can tell but nothing more! All renovated, no luxury but new & clean. The rooms were normal three star standard, but no minibar and safe. Two German channels and tv with very useful, free Wi-Fi. The staff at the front desk was really great and helpful but this is only a snapshot of course.
The old town (square) is ten minutes walk away, the bus station is right across the street (behind a shopping center) and thank you next to the hotel sold from 22 o'clock no more beer! Next to the thank you is also a McDonalds.
All in all for the price (40 to 50 €) but certainly not the worst choice in Tartu-which was nice to look at but is quite sleepy.
