Centrally located, good location for city trip *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AConvenient hotel for a city trip. Castle, Royal mile, etc. are national museum within a few minutes walking distance. Rooms are attractively furnished, bathroom was OK, except for the hardly usable mini tap at the wash basin, the finger wash yourself to an almost impossible task. Breakfast buffet is OK, 'English' selection was excellent, the 'continental' rather modest. Highly recommended is a (free), the Museum of Scotland, which was very much for children has to offer. The rood-National Holly across the road from the castle, where despite city directly at the Highlands dip. Also recommended is the Tottoo the fringe festival, which cabaret to the street and x venues throughout the city offers. We will definitely go back to Edinburgh. p... p.: cheaper than shuttle (3.5 pounds) from and to the airport is a bus to Waverly station, really recommendable.
