Nice hotel, but unfriendly staff *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AHotel looks more refined and elegant, everything is very clean and well-kept, hotel has 12 floors, but it is not so big; the first few days we encountered kuam people in the lobby despite the many rooms, the hotel is very expensive if you don't directly from Germany bay; it is a hotel restaurant and a bar, both but quite upscale.
Location
The location was great, the hotel is in the corner 28 street / Madison Avenue, a 15 minute walk to Times Square, in the 28th street are 3 tube stations all of which you in 5 to 15 minutes walking distance from the hotel you can actually all destinations in Manhattan within walking distance as it is in the middle, right next to the hotel a shop with drinks and snacks and a Dunkin Donut so without breakfast is also provided for all
Very unfriendly staff, problems have not been solved it is built on the travel agency referred left on our last day there we wanted a taxi and they tried to charge us a ride in a black limousine scams and because you are reluctant showed us a cab we even one up, cleaning of the rooms was always perfect.
Gastronomy
We just spent the bar tested the is a bit expensive otherwise ok.
Sport & Entertainment not available
Room
Very small room, only 140 cm bed, bed is not divisible and there is also only a blanket, so be careful what you as friends or business. There are rooms with 2 beds at 140cm for that they wanted you but per day extra charge !!! From $60 otherwise there was a minibar (as in every hotel pretty expensive), a large, flat-screen TV and a small, but new bathroom with tub.
Tips and recommendations
on the internet beforehand inform pass on the New York, we have 120 € for the 3 day pass but then you are almost all the attractions in New York free and you did a better budget planning, from 3 people is taxi mostly cheaper than metro or bus if you don't 95 degrees in the rush Our runs, Clinton outlet visit if you walk toward the New England runs - well worth it
