Hotel The Carlton On Madison Avenue

It is very central location in the heart of Manhattan, subway station in the immediate vicinity (100 meters), mäkkes nearby (100 meters), so you didn't have to eat at the hotel. There is food and drink very expensive.

We needed an extension and we were immediately provided from a technician (although it was evening). There were absolutely no reason to complain about the service, but we also very little use. The cable we didn't use it if all outlets functional.

Clearly TOO EXPENSIVE!!! A bottle of water from the minibar, $10 , a coke or lemonade, 0.33 l, $6 . It is just too much! In addition we were flabbergasted than on the day of departure an invoice for $120 was outside the door. We had thought we drank yet only 2 drinks ... Was The cause we own drinks in the minibar cool, but a few kept out of the hotel and go in the morning. Something we didn't know was the fact that the removal of drinks automatically registered and to the room. At the front desk (after the thing was explained the bill) but immediately and without any problem amended.

The rooms were on the day of arrival and throughout our stay very clean! The air conditioning worked well. There was a huge tv, safe, iron and ironing board and iron, desk etc. . The room and the bathroom were large enough for 2 or 3 people.

We would recommend the hotel and would stay again in spring 2011 NY book a week. The price-performance ratio was good. Free Wireless internet we found very good.
