Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AThe ceremonial hall with its stucco ceiling and let the hallways actually suspect you would have to go in a 4 star hotel. The rooms are good size, very clean and a new booth. In some places like in the entrance area or the notdürftigen besides one store within range, we noticed however that the Congress Plaza here and there is a bit old, which didn't really bother us.
Location
A dream! The hotel is only a 5 -minute walk from the Chicago away (on secure wide, lighted sidewalks). same time you can immediately in the park and walk along the Michigansees to the Field Museum, Shedd Aquarium, Adler Planetarium and Soldier Field or in the other direction from the Navy Pier to walk to it. On the doorstep runs the recommended bus to south right up to the convention center and north through the center, about the Chicago River to the Hancock Tower. The bus 19 to the games the Chicago Bulls is only a 5 minute walk.
Friendly welcome. thorough room cleaning. We were greeted by the doorman in German and gave us some interesting tips. The luggage was on the day of departure for a few hours in a locked room aftercheckout.
Gastronomy Unused
At the hotel there was at least a restaurant, after being horrified by what looked good. But we did not try it. There is also a bar on the ground floor, which was visited especially for halloween.

The rooms are quite large and rooms for us went over a wonderful side view of the Park and Lake Michigan to the Field Museum. What a great sunrises! The room and bathroom are very clean. The room made a very new impression. The bathrooms are may be 10 years old but not worn. The coffee machine, a flat screen TV with a irons are available.
