Great apartments are housed for ski holidays *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AWe stayed at this year as part of a group tour a week station in Aspen for skiing. The gant was a relatively large apartment complex, whereas the apartments all in houses with maximum 3 stories. Four of us had an apartment with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms which was very spacious. Daily room service was impeccable and nothing about the area a good impression. Of course in Aspen predominantly Americans and Canadians, but also some other English-speaking nationalities. Included in the price was only the night.
Location
The hotel is not far from the center Aspens (about 10 minutes by foot). Supermarket are closer and coffee shop. The ski area Aspen Mountain, the relatively demanding, is just around the corner. Highands Snowmass, buttermilk and are with ski bus to reach. The ski bus takes one of the hotel's own shuttle service.
The service of the gant can't be beat. Friendly staff at the front desk, spot on room service and especially the always available shuttle service are the highest rating worth it. When our toaster the spirit condiioner we had already after a few minutes a new. However, as English parts of the United States - duty.

Sport & Entertainment
Also in the winter, the hotel a relatively large pool in part in two places and hot tubs, the permanently available for guests. The grounds are immaculately maintained, towels are available. Moreover, there was a fitness room, which we didn't use.
Room
Our apartment was superb. Very spacious with 2 bedrooms and 2 baths, and a very large sitting room with attached open kitchen. A bedroom had 2 queen-size beds and a bath with bath tub, toilet and a double sink, the other a king size bed and a spacious shower with toilet, and a double sink. Of course hair dryer. In the living room and in the bedrooms very large flat screen TV with a variety of programs. The kitchen was fully equipped: refrigerator/freezer combination, dishwasher, stove with ceramic hob, microwave, toaster, coffee maker and coffee and tea available daily. There is a fireplace in the living room and on the balcony was a lot of firewood for several holidays, the could (we used a lot). Telephone and safe were also there, of course, as well as iron & ironing board (who needs! ). The furniture was American rustic and plentiful.
Tips and recommendations
At the end of the season as we were traveling in a group, I can about the value for money say much. Only that we ourselves very cheap for us. But we had no concrete rate only a attractive price. Ski and boot can be reached in the room and stored dried.
