First look so maybe not so inviting, but the renovated rooms are really nice. But you should at the booking on a renovated rooms make sure. Although there is no gastronomy in the hotel, so no breakfast to get up early, but if you can walk a few steps you will not be hungry. The guest structure I couldn't judge, since we were only at the hotel to sleep.

Location

Great central location. Impire State Building, Rockefeller Center, Times Square, even Central Park is within walking distance. Metro station is also just a few meters away.

Service

Front desk with all of our questions very helpful and friendly. Room cleaning was OK, it was not vacuumed daily, but it was still clean (very positive no carpet). Fresh towels every day.

Gastronomy

Suns

Complimentary coffee, but only in the mornings and evenings each for about 3 hours but was completely ok, as if you spend time in the hotel during the day is your own fault.

We had a renovated queen size room, small but nice. Queen size bed, open wardrobe, desk, TV (flat screen on the wall), in-room safe. New bathroom and very clean. Air conditioning which we in winter, don't really needed. Heating is occasionally loud noises, but not really disturbing. Windows to the interior light well, but if you spend time in the room as a place to sleep it wasn't really disturbing. So no noise from the street.

Tips and recommendations

There was still another larger rooms, but if you don't spend your time during one of New York trips in the room anyway. While it is also early February in New York very cold, but the town is not as crowded. No queues at hotspots. Rockefeller Center (top of the rocks) already in the morning for the sunset, so you could buy at the desired time ( at least 30 minutes before sunset) directly to the elevator.
