Not so clean - but great location! *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AThe hotel is smaller than it is. In the hallways you can easily get lost, because they are tricky. There is an elevator, but this hotel is only 2 floors. We had to walk through the half of the hotel to the stairs to get to the 1 Floor access, where our room was.
Location
The hotel is in a great location. It's located in the Back Bay and 2 minutes walk from the Prudential Center. Here sightseeing bus Duck tours. In the direct area there was a small restaurant that you could great breakfast in the morning. The Prudential Center is a 2 -minute walk away. There are several fast food chains represented,. Panda Express and have no name fast-restaurant, with ample and delicious selection of breakfast (from bagels to scrambled eggs with bacon). The Red Sox Stadium 15-20 -minute walk to is in easy walking distance. The hotel is next to the main road. Our room facing the back of the hotel and was very quiet.
The front desk staff was very friendly, helped us but unfortunately no further, when we had questions for our rental car and therefore we ate only with a telephone number, then at the we call ahead.
Gastronomy not available
Sport & Entertainment
We only used the pool for short from the hotel. There were a lot of people there and the overall impression was quite clean and in order.
Room
The room was much larger than we expected. A fairly small windows that open would not close, leading to an polluted, private courtyard. overhead there was in the room didn't, so it was generally rather dark in the room. The room itself seemed very dusty impression, but the bathroom was so far clean. Standard cleaned every day and the towels were changed. A kettle, tea, coffee and a TV were available.
Tips and recommendations
Best travel time are spring and fall. From June/August/September it is just too hot on the coasts and it rains more often. Tickets for the Red Sox games there is still working on the daily box office. This opens about a 2 hour before game. You should maybe 3-4 hours before and stand in line to use. We were 3 1/2 hours before and got great good places! A unique, typical American experience and only to be recommended!
