Gorgeous hotel among palm trees on fairy tale beach *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AWe spent in February 2010, 14 nights at the hotel. The Racha is an absolute dream Hotel. It has about 60 villas, situated on a large area on a slight slope and right on the beach. The hotel is located on a small island (KOH Racha) on which there are only 2-3 simpler bungalow resorts. The hotel is located directly on the beach the main bay, on the boats with day trippers dock, come to snorkelling. We found this but not annoying. The service and the friendliness of the entire staff was awesome. There is not one, not the greets a friendly. Has a desire, within shortest time this. The breakfast is served in one of the restaurants. At the breakfast there was actually everything, that the heart desires. Also special wishes are fulfilled immediately from the chef. The quality of the food and beverage quality is very high. The prices very reasonable. The rooms are just like a dream. Very minimalistic and puristic designed, but equipped with everything, which one needs. Safety deposit box, refrigerator (daily each room contains two-and-a-half liter-bottles of water), tea and coffee making facilities, DVD players, tv, air conditioning, flashlight, umbrellas, bug spray. A dream is the bathroom with separate shower and toilet and the shower! What you don't expect, is an entertainment program. Therefor it does the soul really good, sometimes just chill out, good food, be pampered and, above all, the lack of hustle and bustle.
