Been look down by the staff
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AI stayed there for 2 nights. This was the only experience that I have received from a '5' stars hotel. I have tried many 5 stars hotels around the world but with Regent this was my first time.
The concierges saw us but never open the door for us, no smile on their faces. When I checked out, the first thing the receptionist said to me was, 'mini bar?' instead of 'how's everything?'. Then she put the receipt into an envelope, handed to me with one hand but her head facing the computer. She didn't say 'thank you', or even 'bye'. That's it. What a five stars experience.
Then I filled in a questionnaire complaining and asked for a reply. But I have never heard anything back.
Location
The location is good. It is next to the main train station. By walking, only 10 mins to city centre.
Staff were not friendly at all, no smile, not helpful.
Handling complaint is terrible. I filled in a questionnaire asking for reply, haven't heard anything yet.

Small but good enough. It has a small pool, fitness centre.
Room
comfortable room. but house keeping not doing a good job. I used a glass but after they come to clean the room, that glass was still there.
no turndown service. I am not sure if they provide this service or just they have missed my room for 2 days.
Tips and recommendations
If you are asian or asian looking, don't stay there. You will be treated differently.
